The Wellbeing Places REIG is a private Real Estate Investment Group designed to give investors a combined 8% yield through a mixed portfolio which concentrates on improving people's health and wellbeing through a people first always approach.

Purpose

To create an investment group with a solid 8% yield through a mixed portfolio that positively contributes to narrow the gap in supply of accessible housing in the private rented sector; creates capacity in the later living sector; and develops unique wellness and co-working facilities, all with the purpose of creating new spaces that promote people's health, happiness, and wellbeing and reduce social isolation and loneliness.

Means

We will acquire and adapt existing residential portfolios from small and first-generation buy-to-let landlords in areas of high need with strong revenue and capital growth potential. We will also acquire small redundant dairy farms of circa 40–50 acres, strategically located city-centre sites, and selected smaller urban units. Existing built footprints will be redeveloped to provide co-working spaces, food and beverage offerings, event spaces, office leases, and wellness and leisure facilities. For the farm hubs, retained pastureland will be used to create habitat banks that enhance biodiversity and generate ecological value, including potential biodiversity credits. Additionally, we will enter into turnkey contracts with care home portfolio operators, providing a complete delivery solution: acquiring the land, obtaining statutory permissions, and developing the property.
